In its 2012 Strategic Visioning process, House of Friendship identified a strategic direction of, ‘being an organization which invests in its staff and engages all in our shared vision’, and a commitment to, ‘creating and supporting an environment where all are respected and valued.’ In keeping with this direction and commitment, House of Friendship has since become a member of Living Wage Waterloo Region with a current ratio of 3:1 between the highest and lowest paid positions. We believe that a living wage and sustainable income gap are part of a healthy community, and that employees are a very important part of our community.

If you would like to send us your resume to be considered for upcoming postings, our policy is to keep your resume on file for six months and review it with respect to any job postings in that time period. If an appropriate position becomes available you may be contacted for an interview. If, after six months pass, you are still interested in being considered for job openings, you should re-submit an (updated) application.
