You made Christmas Hampers a success

Elmer Sauder is one of our enthusiastic volunteers at the Christmas Hampers program. Elmer, who is 91 years old, has been volunteering to pack Christmas Hampers for 23 years.

Once again, we have been overwhelmed with the support that this year’s Christmas Hampers and Rotary Turkey Drive has received.

Thanks to the generous support of this community, and the 600 volunteers who gave of their time and energy this December, just under 4,000 Christmas Hampers have been delivered to families in need.

The last hampers rolled out of the Christmas Hampers warehouse on Wednesday, Dec. 20, the same day that volunteers wrapped up handing out 3,800 turkeys, thanks to support from the Kitchener-Conestoga Rotary Club.

Thanks to your support, dedication and commitment, local families will be able to enjoy a holiday meal together, in spite of their own personal circumstances. You have made Christmas special for so many. Thank you!
