Charles Village is permanent, supportive housing for 22 single adults (both women and men). Tenants live independently in their own apartments. It is affordable housing where all tenants have subsidized rent (geared to their incomes). Staff work with tenants to promote community life in the building and help them connect to other services from which they might benefit.

Charles Village is centrally located in downtown Kitchener close to public transit, retail shops, the Farmers' Market and other services. The building has a unique geo-thermal heating and cooling system that maximizes tenant comfort and minimizes energy costs.
